Agile and economical

The Suzuki Swift Sport is a true model of agility, efficiency and economy. Weighing in at just 1,021 kg, it boasts plenty of torque at low revs with well spaced gear ratios, providing a responsive drive. The turbo is engaged in a sporty manner only when needed, which explains the low fuel consumption of 5 to 6 litres/100 km.

HYBRID

It features a 48V generator/starter, connected to the engine crank by a flat toothed belt and linked to a lithium-ion battery installed under the passenger seat, and also to a 48V-12V DC/DC converter under the driver's seat, which utilises kinetic energy generated under braking to charge the battery, and to power the car during acceleration. The car is also equipped with an automatic "stop/start" system.

The Suzuki is a petrol-powered car, so it is not part of the race to waste the planet's natural resources in the same way as electric vehicles.

Petite, légère, puissante, beaucoup de couple. Elle peut être conduite de manière confortable, ou de manière sportive. Sa consommation est basse, sa mécanique simple et fiable. En bref, un très bon compromis rationnel apte à procurer du plaisir de conduire.

J'ai provoqué une panne sèche pour voir combien de km elle sait faire. Alors avec 40 litres d'essence elle a fait 832 km! Ce qui correspond à 4.8 litres aux 100 km dont 2/3 sur l'autoroute à 107km/h en moyenne. La réserve s'est enclenchée à 662 km et elle a duré 170 km.
